As LGDisplay introduce, the name of OLED EX comes from Evolution and eXperience.This technology is mainly to add deuterium to the composition and design ofOLED panel, and adjust it with the image processing algorithm to improve theoverall brightness and display definition of the screen. In addition, it alsopredicts and adjusts the use of light-emitting diodes according to the user'sviewing habits, so that the content of images played on the screen can beinterpreted with higher details and color performance.

With theOLED EX panel technology, LG Display said that the 65-inch OLED TV can bereduced from the original narrowest 6mm frame design to 4mm, so that the screencan be built in a borderless form, corresponding to a larger display range.

OLED EXpanel technology will be applied to LG's OLED TV screens from the secondquarter of this year, and mass production is planned through production lineslocated in Paju City, South Korea and Guangzhou City, China.
